Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan was born in 1981. Nicky is an Australian actor as well as model. Her fame was first noticed in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors in a series of ten episodes broadcast between 2006 and 2007. Two different projects brought her to Hollywood in the form of the drama choral Hollywood & Wine in which she starred as an aspiring Hollywood actress. In the 9th series of Scrubs she appeared as Maya who was a beautiful medical student. The show was then abruptly cancelled. She then continued filming a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, which starred Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she was in B-series movies and short series. In 2013, she was able to get more exposure for projects: she appeared on six of episodes in the detective series Franklin and Bash then landed her first role as a regular in the web-series Chosen which is portrayed with Milo Ventimiglia. The show also features her as the character of Chad Michael Murray's rebuttal in the first and second seasons. Following that, she landed support roles in two wonderful feature films that were set in planes One was a TV film produced for the SyFy Channel Flight 7500 The One Way Back with a cast consisting of characters from TV shows and the second is the action movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. She is a pilot. She is the face of an upcoming TV show called Matador which she co-stars together with Gabriel Luna. The duration of the season of this thriller produced by Robert Rodriguez, wherein actors take on the role as CIA Agents, runs thirteen episodes. The pilot for another show, which has not been a success, remains in production. She shared the poster for the romance B-Series Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared as Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars in the comedy Witness for Rent. The novel Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence malick, also released widely. In addition, she has appeared in five episodes from the Satisfaction television show.
