Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actress from America. She rose to prominence in the late 70s as well as the beginning of the 80s with her roles on a variety of programs on television, in which she was portrayed as an attractive actress. Fairchild launched her acting career in 1973-77 in CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. As the first actress portraying Jenna Wade, she made her first appearance on the CBS soap opera daytime Dallas in 1978. The following year, she was offered an important role in the NBC series Flamingo Road (1980), which earned her an Golden Globe Award as Best Actress for a Television Series - for that show. In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 to 1986, Fairchild was the lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild also appeared in the stage, and also in guest roles on television shows like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her part in this show. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA Board member.
