Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress, producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her starring part as a character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mother was a movie lover and encouraged her to love films as a child. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular activities in school, but she had a particular interest in dramatics. She was a great actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her peers. After performing in a variety of performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her profession. She was a student at in the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved the experience. She was given a three month assignment to make documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a television production assistant following the completion of this task. In the following years, she transitioned to the production of documentaries.
