Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, who is an actor as well as a producer, director and playwright, educator, and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton as well as the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. When she was a kid, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto in order to help her acting develop. The actress later was able to move to Los Angeles.
